UCO Foundation Names New Board Members and Board Leadership

The University of Central Oklahoma Foundation recently announced the election of five new members to its board of trustees and a new board chairperson. Each member will support the UCO Foundation’s work to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students and support for faculty, campus activities and vital programs at Central.

Joining the board of trustees are Tammy Alger; Ann Benjamin; Michael Chandler, D.D.S.; Freda Deskin, Ph.D.; and, Jack Evans. Emily Lang will serve as board chairperson.  The new board members began their three-year term July 1. Lang’s term is two years.

“We are excited to expand our board with five new members who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work,” said Anne Holzberlein, UCO Foundation president.

“Each of our new board members exemplifies the spirit of community and brings expertise, talent and a fresh perspective to the table. I am delighted to welcome such a strong group, and I look forward to serving with each of them in the coming years.”
